In his 26 years producing, designing and managing websites, Matt has worked with some of the most recognized artists in Rock, Folk and Jazz including Aerosmith, Phish, Charles Mingus Estate, Wes Montgomery Estate, Tom Rush, Sam Bush to name a few.
He was part of Phish’s first foray into online multimedia and has recently worked with Kracken Media bring live Americana music into a virtual environment.

The MVRS team has a long-term collaborative background of leadership that spans more than 25 years in emerging technologies, from bringing top entertainment brands to the internet through best-selling e-commerce and online shopping portals, online fantasy sports, multiplayer poker and more.
In 1991 Scott Matalon co-founded Stumpworld Systems, one of the very first web and interactive firms. Within 5 years the company serviced a blue-chip client list from the professional entertainment industry, including seminal bands Aerosmith, The Rolling Stones, U2, Phish and others, to leading media and corporate brands SONY, EMI, CAA, Ben & Jerry’s, NYNEX, Woolworths, and many more.
In 1994, the company launched the Blue Note Records website, which was the very first e-commerce site in the music industry. The Blue Note site enabled consumers to search and purchase any CD in the entire Blue Note Catalog. In 1997, the company partnered with ArtistDIRECT Agency and created the first direct-to-fan shopping site for The Rolling Stones, which paved the way for musicians to finally sell their own merchandise directly without record companies, merchandisers or other middlemen
By 1997 Stumpworld Systems published the very first, best-selling and award-winning e-commerce store-building software, Online Merchant. Online Merchant was available nationally in Staples, BestBuy and CompUSA, and received 5-star ratings and rave reviews in Computerworld, InfoWorld, PC Magazine, Information Week, Internet World, PC Computing, PC Week and more. The software included a direct link option to the company’s proprietary online shopping portal, BuyItOnline.com. the BuyItOnline portal enabled shoppers to purchase from aggregated merchants using a single shopping cart, digital coupons and one easy checkout process for the very first time.
After the acquisition of Stumpworld Systems by a publicly traded firm in 2001, the company used its proprietary Online Merchant and BuyItOnline technologies to implement the AOL Canada shopping channel.
Since that time, co-founder Michael Clebnik has continued to be a technology leader, developing the world’s first online fantasy sports system, and then the largest free-to-play poker portal in the USA, and partnering with NBCSports, Miller Brewing Co., UFC, WWE, and other media properties to run significant nationally branded contests.
In 2001 Scott Matalon co-founded Metropolitan Pictures, one of Boston’s first all-digital production companies, and completed two feature-length films in worldwide distribution and two television series which each aired into more than 4 million homes. In 2016 consumer VR headsets were first released to the public, and Scott and Musical Director Ron Arra immediately began VR development out of their basement. Mike Clebnik and Brian Levine soon joined, formed an official company, Metro VR Studios… and the rest is ‘History in the Making!’
